We are excited to announce that New Frontier Technologies has just been awarded a Technology Demonstration Grant from the ACT Government ‘s Energy Innovation Program today!

This incredible support will enable us to develop an innovative storage solution for hydrogen, specifically lightweight, liner-less (type V) all-carbon composite pressure vessels. These vessels will increase hydrogen storage capacity and play a crucial role in the infrastructure needed to achieve local net-zero emissions targets.

“Our project will showcase ACT-developed capabilities in the innovative design and automated manufacturing of high-value carbon composite structures. This first-of-its-kind pressure vessel design and scalable manufacturing approach will be highly marketable to both national and international hydrogen economies. ” – Dr Paul Compston, Director and CEO said.

A special thank you to the ACT Government and Minister for Water, Energy and Emissions Reduction, Shane Rattenbury MLA, for their support. We look forward to contributing to the local clean energy economy and driving innovation in the renewable energy sector.

Congratulations also to RenewMap for their success today.

Together, we can make a significant impact on the path to a sustainable future.
