Paul has over 20 years of experience as a leading researcher in advanced manufacturing and characterisation of composite structures for space, aerospace, automotive and other high-performance sectors. He leads New Frontier Technologies in the development of innovative composite structures for high-value applications. Paul is an Honorary Professor in the ANU Research School of Physics and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia.

Luke is a chartered accountant with extensive experience in senior financial management roles in research, government and commercial sectors. He excels in building internal and external relationships, and managing people and activities that support the dynamic working environments typical of highly innovative organisations.
Project Manager
Victoria has Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Engineering Science from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and a PhD in Automated Composites Manufacturing from ANU. She has industry experience in advanced material product development and R&D projects for the aerospace sector. She brings expertise in composites manufacturing and management of engineering projects to the team as a certified PRINCE2 Project Manager.

Chris is a mechanical engineer and with a PhD from ANU in advanced manufacturing of carbon composites and research experience with space, aerospace and automotive industry sectors. He specialises in design-for-manufacture using automated and additive manufacturing technologies, and leads our demonstrator projects.

Adam is a mechanical engineer with extensive expertise in composites design, simulation, and process automation. After completing his PhD at the ANU, he gained several years’ experience in the UK research sector working on manufacturing projects for aerospace and automotive. Adam has spent the previous 5 years in Formula 1 where he was a Senior Engineer before joining NFT in September 2023.
Technical Lead – Advanced Diagnostics
Silvano is an expert in 3D imaging, visualisation and data analysis, with a PhD from ANU, and 20 years’ experience in senior data analyst roles in the geoscience and resource sectors. He leads our 3D analysis and digital material twinning activity.

John is a mechanical engineer and graduated from ANU with PhD in composite material characterisation. He has expertise in mechanical testing and characterisation of composites using 2D and 3D digital techniques, and modelling and simulation of mechanical performance.

Niall is a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in high-value industry sectors for scientific instrumentation and electro-optic systems. He supports the design of composite structures for additive manufacture and the development of innovative tooling for automated manufacturing processes.

Eve is a corporate, commercial and IP lawyer with an extensive background in business development. She has worked in corporate, university and government environments in a wide range of roles including as inhouse counsel, chief operations officer, manager of procurement and strategic relations.
