We’re pleased to announce that New Frontier Technologies has been named a finalist in the Company Research Team of the Year category at the Australian Space Awards 2026, presented by Space Connect.

This recognition reflects our team’s work on low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) composite structures for space applications, (see case studies Repeatable High-Precision Manufacturing, Lightweight, low-CTE mirror mounts for ground-based DREAMS telescope, Dimensionally stable composite mount for optical satellite-based instrumentation). It highlights our focus on turning advanced composite manufacturing and digital engineering into practical, flight-relevant solutions.

Our work is built on close integration across design, manufacturing, and analysis, with a strong emphasis on repeatability, performance, and manufacturability in demanding space environments. Being shortlisted reinforces the value of this approach and its contribution to Australia’s growing space capability.

Winners will be announced on Thursday 18 June 2026 at the Australian Space Summit & Exhibition, held at the Hyatt Regency, Sydney, where we also look forward to connecting with peers and partners across the space community.
